Open version listThe latest PVZ Hybrid releases are Remake 0.30 and Classic Mod 3.18. They are separate version lines. This index also keeps Remake 0.29, 0.28.1, 0.28, 0.27, 0.26.1, Remake 0.26, and Classic 3.17 available as clearly labeled previous releases.
Two active version lines
Remake and Classic use independent release numbers. Choose the edition you play before comparing current and previous versions.
Each edition page links to the existing independent record for every release. None of those changelog URLs change.

Remake 0.29, 0.28.1, 0.28, 0.27, 0.26.1, and 0.26 remain available as clearly labeled previous releases for compatibility, rollback, or comparison. They should not be chosen merely because an old video or search result still calls one the latest PVZ Hybrid Remake. Start with 0.30 unless a device limitation, translation package, save workflow, or guide explicitly needs an older release. Keep each version in a separate folder and name every directory clearly so an archived executable cannot overwrite the current installation.
Separate Classic edition
Classic 3.18 is the current Windows release in the separate Classic PVZ Hybrid Mod branch. The 3.x number cannot be used to rank it against Remake 0.30 because the two editions use independent code, files, platforms, release notes, and compatibility rules. Choose Classic when you specifically want the established Classic mod line, then use its edition page and 3.18 record for the correct Windows archive, English compatibility notes, and upgrade path from 3.17.
Previous Classic
Classic 3.17 is retained as an official historical record and direct archive for users who need that exact version. It can support rollback, translation matching, older saves, guide verification, or comparison with 3.18. It is not the current Classic recommendation. Install 3.17 separately, use only translations that explicitly support 3.17, and preserve a working copy before trying 3.18. The dedicated page keeps old release facts attached to the old file instead of mixing them into the current download.
Reading version numbers
Check the edition, version, and platform. The Remake sequence is 0.26 → 0.26.1 → 0.27 → 0.28 → 0.28.1 → 0.29 → 0.30. Classic 3.17 → 3.18 belongs to a separate branch. Open the matching release record before choosing a game package or editor.
Choosing a release
For a new installation, choose the current release in the edition and platform you want: Remake 0.30 for Windows or Android, or Classic 3.18 for Windows. Use 0.29, 0.28.1, 0.28, 0.27, 0.26.1, 0.26, or 3.17 only when compatibility, rollback, translation, or a specific guide requires them. Before changing versions, back up saves and configuration, keep the previous directory intact, and test the new build in a separate folder. This branch-aware workflow avoids most mixed-file and translation problems.
