PVZ Hybrid Wiki & Field Guide

The PVZ Hybrid wiki starts with release identity: which edition, version, language package, and install path a guide applies to. Gameplay references can then stay connected to the correct build.

Release-aware knowledge base

Every guide should name its edition and version instead of assuming all PVZ Hybrid builds behave the same.

Edition index

01

Edition index

Classic and Remake

Start with the edition and version pages before using a gameplay guide. Remake 0.26.1 and Classic 3.18 are current within different release lines, while Remake 0.26 and Classic 3.17 are retained as previous records. Every useful wiki entry should state the edition, version, platform, and language context it describes. That prevents an old plant value, translated name, screenshot, or installation step from being mistaken for a rule shared by every Plants vs Zombies Hybrid build.

02

Gameplay index

Hybrid plants and zombies

Gameplay entries should identify the exact version used for plant and zombie names, abilities, costs, recharge times, attack patterns, counters, screenshots, and balance observations. PVZ Hybrid combines familiar mechanics into new units, so a similar name does not guarantee identical behavior across Classic, Remake, or two releases of the same branch. Strategy notes should explain the level or mode tested and distinguish a documented rule from a player observation. Version labels make later balance updates easier to audit instead of silently rewriting history.

03

Support index

Install, update, and translation help

Use the installation and release records when a launch issue, save migration, or translation mismatch depends on a particular archive. A support entry should begin with edition, version, platform, filename, and clean-install status, then list the exact error and the last change. Separate troubleshooting paths are needed for Windows ZIP extraction, Android APK installation, Classic-to-Classic upgrades, Remake updates, and English patches. The goal is a repeatable diagnosis, not a list of unverified fixes copied between unrelated builds.

04

Plants and zombies

Build a versioned almanac

Plant and zombie articles should record the displayed name, edition, first known version, role, cost or condition, abilities, attack cycle, counters, and important interactions. Images and translated names need the same version label as the statistics they illustrate. When a hybrid combines recognizable mechanics, the article should describe the actual in-game behavior rather than infer every property from its components. Changes in a later update belong in a dated version note so older strategies remain understandable.

05

Levels and modes

Connect strategies to their ruleset

Level guides should identify the edition, version, mode, objective, starting conditions, major waves, restricted plants, economy assumptions, and a reproducible strategy. A Classic Space-Time Secret Realm stage should not be presented as a Remake level, and a 3.17 solution may change under 3.18 balance. Where several approaches work, explain the decision points and counters instead of claiming one universal lineup. Link back to the relevant release record when an update added or changed the content.

Using the wiki

Move from download facts to strategy

New visitors should choose an edition in the download center, confirm its version in the timeline, follow the installation guide, and then use gameplay articles for that exact build. Returning players can start with updates to see whether a plant, zombie, level, translation, or setup instruction may have changed. This structure keeps download facts, release history, support, and strategy connected without pretending the knowledge base is complete. Pages should state when a detail is unknown, unverified, or awaiting a version-specific update.
